Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers
Air-cooled heat exchangers are widely used in petrochemicals, chemicals, power, metallurgy, and food industries. The equipment uses fans to force ambient air across finned tubes, exchanging heat with high-temperature process fluids inside. Two main types: ACC (Air-Cooled Condensers) for power plants, and AFC (Air Finned Coolers) for process applications.
Technical characteristics
ACC Temperature Range
-42°C to 150°C
ACC Pressure
Negative pressure (steam turbine back pressure)
AFC Temperature Range
-10°C to 250°C
AFC Pressure Range
0.1 to 35 MPa
Draft Configuration
Forced and induced draft designs
Main materials
ACC Tubes
Steel-aluminum composite base tube + aluminum strip fins, brazed for excellent anti-corrosion
AFC Base Tubes
Carbon steel, stainless steel, copper-nickel alloy
